Simple is better. It costs less too.
There are (at least) two golden rules when it comes to designing websites:
1) Less is More
A persuasive website isn't about filling the page with pretty pictures or animation.
It's about establishing credibility by removing fear.
Making a website easier to browse achieves exactly that because the visitor gets
to feel good that they understand the information being presented.
When visitors say to themselves "I don't know what to do next." they
are also saying "...I won't have an easy time communicating with
the folks who made this site."
2) Less costs Less
Functionally strong designs are not only more persuasive but cost less. Learn more about functional versus aesthetic design in our Focus*Point web video presentation. |
