Philadelphia Search Engine Advertising - Artificial (Pay-Per-Click) vs. Natural (Optimizing, Meta-Tags, etc.)

Part 1 - Artificial (Pay-Per-Click)

Each time you do a search in a search engine like Yahoo or Google you get a "search results" page.

The smaller ads, the "Sponsored Listings", on the top, side, and bottom, are Artificial (Pay-Per-Click - PPC) listings. These are online classified ads purchased through Yahoo, Google, and MSN.

The price you pay is solely determined by the marketplace through a free market bidding system starting at 10 cents per keyword per click. There's no charge if your ads are not clicked.

2) Optimize Meta Tags
3) Author Great Copy
4) Optimize HTML
5) Create Quality Reverse-Links

(Repeat steps two through five until high ranking)
