Philadelphia Web Design Video – What You Do Versus What You Sell

Transcript

Hi, I’m Randy Zeitman, the owner.

If you’re a service provider It’s more important to focus on selling yourself than selling your service.

For example most of our callers find us at the top of Google by searching for ‘web design’.

But they never call to ask how many websites we did last year, or how long does it take, or how much will it cost.

They want to know about the people behind the logo … our character… our personality and everything else that helps them conclude we’re trustworthy.

So as a service provider what you and I do is whatever we do … but what we all sell is consulting … expertise and wisdom … the value of personally working with us versus someone else.

For example we redesigned a website for a concrete pouring company. Their site listed their services, machinery, completed projects and a significant client list.

They earned that client list from providing custom engineering solutions. Sometimes they take over entire projects. What they do is concrete but the website is designed to showcase their expertise and wisdom.

Your website should be doing the same and in our first conversation I can show you examples of what your site can look like and how easy we make the process.

Thank you. I looking forward to speaking with you soon.
